The Current State of Next-Generation Endpoint Security (EPP+EDR)
Endpoints refer to devices such as PCs, servers (physical and virtual), and mobile devices. Because these devices are accessed directly by users, they are easy points of entry for attackers, making appropriate security measures necessary . This document explains the difference between the roles of EPP and EDR, the background to the need for EDR, and current endpoint security challenges and how to solve them.
